You can easily restore an image file
to a partition or a disk. You might restore the
image file from a CD, another partition on the local
disk or from a network share. You can ONLY restore
an image file to a partition if the image file was
created from a partition. You can ONLY restore an
image file to a disk if the image file was created
from a disk.
Image to partition
To restore an image file to a partition:
1. Choose Restore images and then Image to partition.
2. You will be prompted to select the source drive
contains the image file. The source drive might
be a CD, a partition on another local disk or a
mapped drive of a network share. To restore an image
file from a network share, you need to first map
the network share as a virtual drive. See Appendix
for more information about map a network share for
AYGHOST.
3. Browse the folders on the source drive to select
the image file. Click on the Next to continue.
4. Select the target disk that contains the partition
you want to restore the image file to.
5. Select the target partition that you are restoring
the image file to.
