TROUBLESHOOTING

Setup can not detect the hard disk.

If the Setup Summary or Custom Setup does not display any hard drive or partitions been detected on your computer, this could be caused by a RAM disk, ZIP drive or USB drive. They are sending mixed signals to the setup program. Remove the auxiliary device, and try the setup again. If setup is still not able to detect the hard drive, stop setup process and call for technical support.

Subsystem fails to load, computer freezes with a black screen.

After running setup in the Windows, the system is restarted. During restart cycle, the computer freezes on a black screen before Subsystem Console even loads.

To fix this problem, restart the computer and press the Ctrl+F8 keys at same time rather after BIOS initialization screen to bring up the AyRecovery Recovery Console and then select Uninstall from the Recovery Console options. The computer should start up after the uninstall. After you are back into the Windows, please send the setup.log, subconsole.log and 128.dat files from \program files\AyRecovery folder to support@k62.net for analysis. This problem is generally caused by a incompatible hardware.

AyRecovery system tray icon fails to load after restart.

This could be caused by some anti-virus or real-time scanning software, which interrupted AyRecovery system tray icon initialization process. Just go to Start->Programs->AyRecovery folder and run the Eaztray again.
