1. To recover a file or folder, right click the AyRecovery icon in the system tray. Select "Application Console" from the popup menu. You will need a password to access the Application Console if the access control is enabled.

2. In the Application Console, under the Quick Fixes menu, click on "Recover files" link; choose one of the three options provided and then input required information.

3. The screen will display all the available snapshots. Select the snapshot you would like to recover the files from; if you are not sure which snapshot to recover the files from, use the calendar and clock to approximate your time. Click on "Next" to continue.

4. On the search results window, select the files or folders you would like to recover. You can choose to recover the files to a new location or to its original location. If you choose to recover to the original location, the existing files with the same name will be overwritten.
