To restore system
from the application console:

1. Right click the AyRecovery icon in the system tray. Select
"Application Console" from the popup menu. You will need a password to access the
Application Console if the access control is enabled. |

2.In the Application
Console, under the Quick Fixes menu, click on "Restore system" link, The
right-hand panel will display all the available snapshots for your computer. You
can change the calendar and time settings to select snapshots. The current snapshot you are in is indicated by a big
green arrow.
Select the snapshot you would like to restore system to. You can also
choose to take a snapshot of the current system by checking the "Take a snapshot
of the current system before restoring" checkbox before restoring. Click on
"Next" to continue. |

Restoring the system to another snapshot, newly created data in
the current snapshot will be discarded to ensure the system integrity; however,
there might be important documents or emails that you cannot afford to discard. AyRecovery allows you to
carry those documents over to the restoring snapshot by synchronizing selected files
or folders. To synchronize files with the
restoring snapshot, click on the Advanced button. |

4. Select the files or folders in the current system, that you
would like to synchronize with the snapshot you are restoring to. It is
recommended you only select files, because large folders could take longer time
to synchronize. |

5. The computer needs to restart to complete the restore
process. Click on "Restart" to restart the computer. After the system is
restarted, restore should be completed.

When restore system to another snapshot, newly created data
in the current snapshot will be discarded to ensure the system integrity. You can choose to take a snapshot of
the current system to include these data in a new snapshot by check the "Take a
snapshot of the current system before restoring" checkbox on the restore system
window before restoring the system. If you wish to restore the system to another snapshot and
transfer some data in the current system over. Click on the Advanced
button to select Restore with file
