Enterprise is a client/server based network
management solution. |

As
a client server architecture, AyRecovery
Enterprise has 2 modules: The client module
and the Server module. |

AyRecovery
Enterprise client module can be either AyRecovery
Professional client or AyRecovery Standard
client. |
|
AyRecovery
Enterprise server module has two components,
AyRecovery Enterprise Server and AyRecovery
Enterprise Administrator Console. |
|

AyRecovery
Enterprise Server and AyRecovery Enterprise
Administrator Console can be installed on
the same computer or on separate computers.
AyRecovery Enterprise Server does not have
program interface, it runs as a NT service
after installed. AyRecovery Enterprise Administrator
Console provides IT administrators the interface
to the client management.

Life Example: |
|
We have a small network of 5 computers and
a NT server, SERVER X. |
|
We install AyRecovery Professional client
onto all 5 computers, PC1 to PC5, to protect
them. |
|
We install AyRecovery Enterprise server
and Administrator console components on
the NT server, SERVER X. |
|
In the AyRecovery Pro client's Application
Console, Program settings/Network settings,
we set the 5 client computers connect to
the SERVER X. |
|
PC5 happens to be the network administrator's
desktop, he installs the AyRecovery Enterprise
Administrator Console component on his computer. |
|
|
The network administrator open the AyRecovery
Enterprise Administrator Console and connect
it to the SERVER X, he is then able to see
all 5 client computers connected to the
SERVER X. He can remotely restore the clients,
take snapshots and change client settings
and perform other client management activities. |
|
AyRecovery clients can connect to the AyRecovery
Enterprise server through proxy and Internet.
AyRecovery Enterprise Administrator Console
can also connect to the AyRecovery Enterprise
server through proxy and Internet. So the
IT administrators can remotely manage a
network of computers with ease. |
